    CD/DVD Drive In Windows 7 Not Working/Viewable

    1. Click Start, type: Device Manager
    2. Click Enter
    3. Expand your DVD/CD listing in the Device Manager tree
    4. Right click the optical drive
    5. Click Uninstall
    6. Restart the system and see if the DVD drive works correctly now
