How to autoscroll with my new laptop?

Original Title:  Mousepad for windows 7

i just bought a new laptop with windows 7 and i want the mousepad to do auto scroll but there is no settings for it ive looked under mouse but that is for a usb mouse is there a place i can go to turn on auto scroll on the mouse pad?

    its where u can just run your finger down the right hand side of the mousepad or along the bottom of the mousepad to scroll the page instead of havin the click the side bar to scroll on the page x

    The controls for the touchpad are in the Mouse applet of the Control Panel, but I never heard of "autoscroll".  What is it?
