    Hi,

    1.        Did you make any changes on the computer prior to this issue?

    2.        When exactly do you get this error message?

    3.        What is the exact error message?

Step 1: You may uninstall and reinstall iTunes and check.

    Refer:

Removing and Reinstalling iTunes, QuickTime, and other software components for Windows XP

    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1925

Step 2: If the above step doesn’t help then I would suggest you to contact Apple support team.

Also refer the following article which might help you.

iTunes: "Error 42408" or "Error 42404" after upgrading to iTunes 9.0.3

I did it all.  When I try to install itunes I get the following message for both Bonjour and Apple software update:

The older version of Bonjour cannot be removed.  Contact your technical support group.

    Thanks,

    Hi:

Thank you so very much for your help.  I did everything you told me to do.  It was easy, except no matter what I do Bonjour will not uninstall nor will Applesoftwareupdate.  I did not make any changes on this computer prior to this issue.  I get this exact message when I try to uninstall Bonjour and Applesoftwareupdate from my computer:

cannot delete bonjour: Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write protected and that the file is not currently in use  mdnsnsp.dll  I get the same message for both.  Can you help.  I'm still working it.  I don't know what to do now.  I ignored it and tried to install itunes and it wont go.

    Thanks,

    Annique Malm
