There is an audio and/or video program running in the background; I hear the sound from the show; I wish to find it and turn it off; what is the process to find what is running and turning it off?

    Hi,

    ·         When exactly do you get this background sounds?

    ·         Do you hear the sound after closing all the programs in Windows?

    ·         Does the sound come from internal speaker or external speakers?

    Step 1:

I would suggest you to check Task Manger and see if any program is running on the background.

Open Task Manager by right-clicking the taskbar and then clicking Task Manager.

    Step 2:

If you are facing this issue while using internet explorer then first check if any advertisement program is running in the internet explorer Window. I would suggest you to perform Clean Boot on the computer and check if any third party program is causing the issue.

First of all check your speakers that from which one you are getting this sound.also on task manager may be you will find anything on task manager. there is also a possibility that this sound is coming from a web page like youtube or any other which have any sound file and by mistake you have play it and now you have forgot because i usually do this and get confuse that from where i am getting this and this situation very bothering. so check on all of the condition might be you can find a legal reason.
