As I stated in the beginning, I get the error when I run "File Backup" and "change backup setting" (only).
I did what you asked and Looked at the backup log at C: \Windows\Logs\WindowsBackup but the only file there that are there have a extension of .ETL. Downloaded app to open this type of files but I keep getting file is corrupted.

Hello,
Is the problem happening when you make an image backup or is it happening while creating a file backup?
Look at the backup log at C: \Windows\Logs\WindowsBackup and then locate the 0x80070057 error and copy the 20 lines above it and 5 below it.
Hello, thanks for getting back to me so soon.
Yes I did check this and it was correct, but changed and restarted anyway. No luck, its ood that i am able to do a "complete pc backup (shadow copy) wothout a problem. go figure!
And to answer your question Yes i had a drive failure and had to replace it and restored from a backup.
Thanks, Phillip
Hello,
Were there any changes( hardware or software) made to the computer prior to the issue?
