Running a programme called SMAC using Windows Vista

I cannot run a programme called SMAC.  The message I get is:

SMAC has determined that you have insufficient registry access.   SMAC requires that the current user have Full Control access to the registryshould have full being denied access when trying to run a programmed, message says I need full user control permissions to the registry.

I have administrator status which I thought allowed me to do anything.  Can anyone advise please?

Thank you.

Right click the program and click 'Run as Administrator'.

Even if you have an Administrator account, Vista does not normally run with full administrator privileges to protect against malware. There are some areas of the Registry which are not accessible even to Administrators; so this may not solve your problem.
