viewsonic va2026w monitor driver; display drivers does always not load on startup.

Original title: viewsonic va2026w monitor driver

Since upgrade to Win 7 (32bit) my Viewsonic VA2026w (20") driver is not reliably detected on boot-up.

Have downloaded WIN 7 signed driver from the Viewsonic web site, the driver update seems to work OK..

After driver update the Control Panel monitor driver shows the VA2026w driver,  however on the display resolution screen the display is shown as "Display Device DVI" and the max available resolution is 1280x720.

Occasionally the driver will load spontaneously,  and the resolution will change to the correct 1680x1050.

Video card driver is GeForce 210. This driver has been updated for Win 7, and seems to be working OK.

Any advice will be appreciated.

    Hi,

Uninstall and reinstall ‘Display Adapter’ drivers. Refer the following step:

    a)    Start Control Panel, click Hardware and Sound, and then click Device Manager.

    b)    Expand the node that represents the type of device that you want to uninstall, right-click the device entry, and click Uninstall.

    c)    On the Confirm Device Removal dialog box, click OK to start the uninstall process.

    d)    When the uninstall process is complete, download the drivers from the manufactures website and install the drivers.

    e)    After installing the drivers, install latest updates.
