You cannot use calculator to manipulate fractions. You can use the divide symbol "/" though to then give you an answer as a decimal - for example:

    2 / 8 =       (gives answer 0.25)

Isn't this kind of silly though? My computer is several times bigger and can process so much more. I think being able to do fractions (in the form of fractions) should be something of a standard feature. The excuse of dividing the numerator by the denominator just doesn't cut it in this day and age.

Another way to "make fractions" is to use parentheses:

"one and one half" = (1+(1/2))

You can use this to string multiple "fractions" together by treating each set of parentheses as you would normally treat a fraction:

"one and one half" * "three and one third" = "three and one third"

    (1+(1/2))*(3+(1/3)) = (3+(1/3))

to be clear some people don't have the time or money, so yes maybe your computers bigger but that also means its more expensive and it also means it uses more power which is more to the electric bill. also everybody has an opinion of what a standard feature in so if your just going to state opinions and not actually help then I advise you to not make a statement.
