Hi Karen,
To resolve your issue, we need to open the .mov file in Windows Live Movie Maker. Movie Maker has a feature called Snapshot wherein you can select a frame from the movie and save it as a picture of .png format. For instructions on how to do this, please refer to the following:
- Open Windows Live Movie Maker.
2. On the Home tab, in the Add group, click Add videos and photos. Select the .mov file and then click Open.
- Move the slider located under the preview pane of the movie to the point which you want to take a still image of.
- Click Snapshot.
- Enter a file name and save the file in your preferred location.
Please note that the picture was saved in Portable Network Graphic file (PNG) format. We need to convert this file to .jpeg using Paint. Please refer to the following instructions on how to convert to .jpeg.
- Open Paint.
- Click the blue file menu button located at the upper left of the program.
- Click Open, browse for the picture, select it then click Open to open the file.
- Click on the blue file menu button, select Save as then click on JPEG picture.
- Enter a file name then click Save.
@dissed,
We appreciate your help.
Thanks,
Windows Live Ariel A.
