i have tried to download a newer driver for my digital wave player olympus

Windows for home | Previous Windows versions | Devices and drivers

    The VN-3100PC is one of the options available in the dropdown menu on right-side of Step 2 on the weblink I gave you in my previous post. If you select it, will offer you Windows 7 64-Bit drivers and advise you that you need  some other software to be installed first. Is this what you need?

    NOTE: 64-Bit drivers do not work on Windows 7 32-Bit.

    (To find out whether you are running 32 or 64-Bit Windows 7 click:

    Start->Control Panel->System

    then look where it says, "System type".)
