Thank you so much for getting back to me but I have given up on the software that I was intending to download.

But let me ask you something, do you know why we get that error code. Is it something to do with the software or with the OS.

Once again thanks for your help.

    Hello,

Thank you for getting back to me. But I have tried your recommended suggestions and it seems that I am still having that same error message.

Would you happen to know why I would be getting that error message.

    Hello Proxzimus,

    You are welcome.

There could be many reasons for the error you are receiving. These could be the possibilities:

    a.       You may not have the privilege to install an application or software.

    b.      The software could be corrupted.

    c.       It could also be an operating system issue.

Once again I would request you to answer the questions asked in my previous post.

    Hi Proxzimus,

    ·         Are you the administrator of the computer?

    ·         Which software product are you referring to?

    ·         Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?

    ·         Is the issue confined while installing specific software or program?

Follow the suggestions listed below for a possible fix:

Method 1: If you have not logged in as administrator then you may login as administrator and check if the issue still persists.

Method 2: If the above method does not help then you may run the fixit from the mentioned link and check.
