    Hi Keifersgirl,

There's a possibility that some files on your Windows Live Writer are corrupted. Foe us to determine if they are not contributing to the issue, please repair your Windows Live Writer. To do this, please follow these steps:

    1. Click Start.
    2. Go to Control Panel.
    3. Click on Uninstall a program.
    4. Locate Windows Live Essentials and click Repair all Windows Live programs.

    Thanks,

    Windows Live Allan I.

I'm sorry to be such a pest, but I am STILL having a problem.

I went in and uninstalled, reinstalled and it's still giving me this error:

The remote server returned an error: (404) Not Found.

It's so frustrating because to upload pictures on Blogger takes FOREVER and Writer is so much quicker.

Is there anything else you can do for me?  I don't know where else to go!

    Hi Keifersgirl,

Please uninstall and then reinstall Windows Live Essentials (this will include Windows Live Writer) to improve its performance and to remove any corrupted files that may have causing the problem. Kindly follow these steps on how to do it.

    1. Uninstall your Windows Live Essentials. To get instructions on how to do it, click **here**.
    2. Reinstall Windows Live Essentials. Click **here** to download its 2011 version. To check the system requirements, please refer to this******link**.

(Note: If you are using Windows XP, you should install the **2009 version**).

    1. Make sure that Windows Live Writer is included to the Windows applications that are being installed.
    2. After installation, please check if you are now able to publish/post your blogs without having any issues.

    Thanks,

    Windows Live Allan I.

Thank you SO much for your response!  I went in and did what you told me above.  I then went and upgraded Window Live also.  I was hoping this would fix it, but when I went into Writer and tried to post one of my drafts to my blog, it gave me the SAME ERROR MESSAGE!  Arrgghhhh

HOW do I fix this?  Please help me...I do NOT know what to do

    Thank you agaiin!
