I would like to start over with a new wireless network in Windows 7, but I can't figure out how to remove a previous network. I keep seeing  that I should start in the Control Panel and Manage Networks, but that option doesn't come up.

I would like to start over with a new wireless network in Windows 7, but I can't figure out how to remove a previous network. I keep seeing  that I should start in the Control Panel and Manage Networks, but that option doesn't come up.

Open the Network and Sharing Center then select Manage wireless networks on the left. Highlight the network, right click and select Remove network.

You can also use Merge or delete as required to delete unwanted networks...

Windows 7 Does not show "Manage Your Networks" in the screen you talk about.  It does i Vista but that doesn't help.

When I go to the Network and Sharing Center, I can see the network that I want to delete, but but I am not presented with the option to delete.

Just a word of thanks.  I lately switched from Windows XP Pro to Windows 7 Pro 64-bit.  Things are not where they used to be.  Your answer pointed the way to my wireless network properties, so I could change the password.  You saved me a bunch of time and fiddles with resetting the router, etc. etc.
