    Hello markward4905

You should be able to download relevant drivers from your web cam manufacturer's website.

    Hello markward4905

what you see is not a webcam, it is a sensor to adjust your screen brightness automatically.

Followed your direction and get this message... Can't detect your webcam. Do you know how I can download a driver to make it work?

    Hello markward4905,

Do you have any video grabber software on your machine? Sometime this can take prescendence over your webcam.

Try this to see if it works.

    1. Open skype
    2. Click on one fo your contacts.

3 You should now see a video button, call button, a + sign and a graphic equilizer icon

    1. Click on the graphic equilizer icon
    2. A small window will now appear with tabs for Microphone, speakers, webcam, computer and connection.
    3. Click on the webcam tab
    4. On the webcam tab make sure that your webcam is selected in the 'camera you want to use' section.
    5. Once your webcam has been selected you should see a picture indicating that your webcam is working.
