I got a new HP computer with win. 7 for my wife.  She likes to play the old version of card/board game and search the internet.  The new 64 bit computer is fast but not very frindly; it will not play the old games my wife likes  (solitaire royal) . Is there ANY way make my new computer as functional for my wife as the old compuer was??

Going to be difficult..

Old DOS games should run in DOSBox..

Maybe even XP Mode, but you have to be running Windows 7 Professional or higher to get it..

Can't help you beyond that. My advice is always for people to get used to stuff which will run natively..
