    Hi,

We would like to get a better understanding of this issue so we can better assist not only you but other users with similar problems as well.

    1.       Do you receive any error message while opening the pages files?

I would suggest you to follow the steps mentioned below and check if it helps.

    a)      Put the file on your desktop or some place you can easily find it if it’s not already.  (For example, if the .PAGES file was sent to you in e-mail, this means you need to save the attachment to your desktop.)  (If you use Microsoft OUTLOOK, this is done by right-clicking on the attachment in your e-mail and selecting SAVE AS.)

    b)      **Right-click on the file and select RENAME.**Rename the file to whatever you want as long as you end it with .ZIP instead of .PAGES.

    c)      Open the File and Extract the files.  On most WindowsPC computers, you can open the file by simple double-clicking it.  If this doesn’t work for you, you’ll need to use a decompressor like WinZip or Universal Extractor (see directions below downloading and installing Universal Extractor, a free decompressor).

    d)      Open the QuickLook folder and locate the document called PREVIEW.PDF.   This is the document!  You now have the document that was created by the person who used iWORK on a Mac.  And PDF files can be opened by both Mac and PC users.   However, if you want the document to be in an editable Word version, you can convert the PDF to a Word Document by using Nuance PDF Converter or Adobe Professional.  (We use both at work and I gotta tell ya that Nuance PDF Converter does a SWEET job converting PDFs to Word, Excel or PowerPoint formats, much better than Adobe Professional, the original creators of the PDF format.)
