I can only copy and paste as pictures to another file. I want to print a list of photo names or directory names.

Using Windows 7

    David

To display the folder hierarchy, open Windows Explorer, navigate to the folder you wish to start at, hold down the Shift key, right-click on the folder name and choose Open command window here. Type tree |clip and press Enter. Open your word processor program and paste (Ctrl+V) the list to it. You can now print it, edit it or save it and add to it later.

Switches are tree /a |clip (use text characters) and tree /f |clip (display files in each folder).

I’m glad it worked for you. The vertical character (|) is a shifted backslash ().
