Very few laptops support HDMI/VGA video input - most are only HDMI/VGA out, meaning you can't connect a computer to it and use the laptop screen as a second monitor.
Check your laptop specs to see if it supports video input.
I want to connect two of my laptops together so I can have a dual monitor, is this possible?

I have two laptops, one is an HP with a Windows 7 and the other is a Dell with XP.
I want to be able to connect the two of these laptops so I can have dual monitors.
