iTunes crashes on Startup due to kernellbase.dll crashing

Hey guys, I have a problem (as you might have guessed) with iTunes crashing on every single startup, and i do not have a clue on how to fix this.

I have recently acquired a real desktop computer, running a 64 bit version of windows 7 enterprise, and I still posses a HP Notebook with the same OS but in 32 bit (my stepfather both of these licenses from his employer for that matter).

The only reason I'm really using Windows and not completly switching to Ubuntu is because of Steam and iTunes, so i Want to have all my files on both computers at the same time, simulateously..

Steam has cloud sync, so that problem is solved very elegantly. but because i don't have iTunes Match, I keep all my library files on my HDD and whenever i make changes i add the new files onto the HDD, update the library files and copy these between my computers. And that's where I think my problem started.

I copied my files onto my notebook and I tried to launch iTunes, only to find out it crashes on startup.

I tried to reinstall all of the Apple components i found on my computer, fixing all registries throughout the whole process, reinstalling, foxing registries again, nothing.

So i googled and googled to infinity - no results. There were so many different apps crashing due to the very same kernelbase.dll, but i tried to connect the dots to solve this at least temporarily.

Running as Administrator didn't help

Switching off all internet access only managed to postpone the crash 2 to 3 seconds, but im still not able to do anything in between.

The Windows Help thing tried to make me "update" from 10.5.2 to 10.5.2, so i didnt even bother trying that.

I really am frustrated as my music is kind of important to me, and i just cannot abandon windows because there is no better program that would allow me to fully support sync to my iPhone I know of. You know, 120GB worth of songs would be quite a loss.

The Crash Report is embedded below, if that's of any use to you.

    Hi Jonas,

that is a good one, looks like you have a couple different issues.

Usually the appcrash is due to direct X, then there is the dll.

Has this always been the case? Has it ever synched correctly?

I would suggest that we start from the beginning.

Backup your music, and any data files you need, then wipe the system.

Yep, format and re-install. (you can save your drivers or update them later)

Install I tunes, clean boot and see if you can run in safe mode.

Yes? normal boot and try again.

No? Try a clean version of Itunes

    Let me know what happens
