how can i open .zip files in windows media player? i get msg file type not supported. mp3 files are in folder.

Hi I downloaded some audio files and want to create a playlist on windows media player to download to my mp3 player so i can be more mobile to study. when i tried to play them on windows media player i get error msg -file type not supported or codec not compatible with the player. They are a .zip files. inside are mp3 files that i need to listen to. can anyone help me.

    Hi,

    You need to open ZIP files, which are compressed to make them smaller, then use the contents

    in the appropriate application - so if the contents are music or video then use WMP.

    Though Windows has built-in ZIP capability you might be more comfortable using a program

    with more features (and works with many different types of compressed files).
