I know this topic is apparently closed but I had the same problem and simply downloaded and installed the latest Microsoft XML 4.0 Service Pack and it works fine now!

    The download location is: http://www.microsoft.com/download/en/details.aspx?id=15697

    Hope this helps someone else!

    Hi

You will need to contact the maker of that software to see if they plan on any updates to support Windows 7.

Here are some procedures you can try.

Go to the following website: Windows 7 Compatibility Center

You will see a Software and Hardware tab that you can use to locate the product you wish to check for compatibility.

Select the Compatibility FAQ that will explain how to use the compatibility website.

If you find an installed software/hardware item that does not appear on the compatibility list, go to the website of the maker of that product and check for any updates.

If you find that the program is not compatible with Windows 7 and the software maker will not support the product on Windows 7, try the following.

    1. Open the Program Compatibility troubleshooter by clicking the Start button, and then clicking Control Panel. In the search box, type troubleshooter, and then click Troubleshooting. Under Programs, click Run programs made for previous versions of Windows.
    2. Follow the instructions in the troubleshooter.

If you cannot install a program, insert the installation disc for the program and, using the troubleshooter, browse to the program's setup file, usually called Setup.exe, Install.exe, or something similar. The troubleshooter is not designed to work on programs that have an .msi file name extension.

Guided Help: Software designed for an older Windows OS cannot run on Windows 7. Use the Program Compatibility mode!

    Hope this helps.

Thank You for using Windows 7

The solution is to go to http://www.soundeklin.com/software/efilm and download the installer for efilm 3.3 Vet.  After installation you will be able to view the films on your CD.  The MicroDicom - Free DICOM viewer will work as well.  It can be downloaded form the MicroDicom website.  Hope this helps.

Nothing seemed to work for me. Company knows it is incompatible and offered no solutions other than buying full Efilm licence. Compatibility mode did not work.
