    Hi,

I think you are going to have to contact HP about this issue. This is the first I've ever seen a Purple error code, and research seems to be pointing towards the motherboard itself. This looks like a common error when the motherboard has not been "tattooed" properly. That's the process of individualizing a motherboard with a distinct serial number or some other for of ID.

I would speak to HP about what to do with this error code.

    I hope this helps!

Yes , I changed to a MSI mother board to supposedly upgrade, I didn't like it ,but before I pulled Hdd I tried to recover and I got that message. I am still runnjng that old mobo in another tower so I will try to plug it in to that and see what happens. Yes it is anHp m7580n tower. Thank you, John

    Hi,

    1. When did the issue occur?
    2. Have you made any changes to your computer after which the issue started?
    3. What is the make and model number of your computer?

If using a HP computer, I would suggest you to contact HP Technical support to get help with this.
