Start Orb > Computer > right-click and choose Manage

    Double click "Services and Applications"

    Double click "Services"

Scroll down to "Internet Connection Sharing" and double-click on it

On the "General" tab, set the Startup Type to "Automatic"

    Click "Apply"

    Click the "Recovery" tab

Click the "Subsequent Failures" button and select "Restart the Service"

Ensure that "Restart service after" is set to 0 minutes

OK out and close Computer Management

You should have the sharing tab now on the Properties of your Wireless

    Connection

First go to the right corner of taskbar. click on the internet connections, right click on your chosen connection, click on "status" , then go to "properties",  you'll see the "sharing" tab.

    Good Luck

My DSL-modem as a configuration for "some" routers.to share the connection..

If your router is old--purchase a NEW one.

I'm almost scared to jump in here and ask a question.  Lots of hostility, and only a few answers.....

I am getting ready to try and do something similar to what mutasim12 is trying to do:

I have 4g on my verizon phone.  I tether it to my laptop (Win 7 Home Premium) via a USB cable, and get pretty good speeds (4+Mbps).  I want to set up a connection via ethernet from my laptop to my new video phone (which should arrive in a couple of days).  The video phone only requires 200 kbps up/dn speeds, which I get with no problems through to my laptop now.

My video phone will normally connect via ethernet to my home router when I am home.  When I want to show it to a prospective customer, I will have to connect it to a customers router, which sometimes may not be convienently placed.  So I want to connect it to my laptop through my internet connection already being used from my cell phone.

Now, I haven't tried this yet.  I am trying to do my research now, so I will hopefully be ready to connect it when it arrives.   It appears from previous posts that I should be able to enable ICS easily enough, but actually setting up the new connection to the phone is where the fog is setting in.

    Thanks for any suggestions!
