I ran the Delnvc5 ( a program to uninstal norman virus control) as per suggestions. and the response was " Cannot find any Norman virus control installed".

If I switch to the Security Center to check the firewall I find that, Norman Personal Firewall v.1.4 is currently ON.

Yet when I switch to the Windows firewall as a protection, because I don't have any firewall installed as the information from the un-installation program. I got the following :

at least one of the firewalls installed on this computer is currently ON. then when I turned off ( windows Firewall) and it is un-recommended. I will get

Norman Personal Firewall v.1.4 is currently ON.

If I re- ran the norman uninstall program, I get the same message " Cannot find any Norman virus control installed".

I used microsoft Fix it Center program to fix the above problem. And their message is:

(Windows Firewall cannot be set as the default firewall. This is might be of a group policy setting or because you are using another firewall product. If you want to use Windows Firewall, you should remove the other firewall product and then use Windows Firewall.)

How could I rectify the above problem and get rid of remains or fack message Norman personal firewall V 1.4
