downloading Epson Stylus SX235w scanner driver

I have purchased a new Epson printer which also has a scanner, the only thing I am unable to install is the scanner driver.  I am running windows vista 32 bit.  I have tried downloading the scanner from the Epson web site and the disc but no luck.

    ·         What happens when you try to install the scanner drivers?

    ·         Do you get any error message?

    Follow these methods.

    Method 1: Perform a Clean Boot  to see if there is any software conflict as clean boot helps in eliminating software conflicts and try installing the scanner software/drivers.

    Note: After performing the troubleshooting steps in clean boot, follow Step 7 from the link to return the computer to Normal startup mode.

    Method 2: Uninstall the software completely and reinstall it.
