Computer won't recognize USB flash drive.

Original Title:

my computer want recogonize my travel drive

Normally when i plug my flash drive into my computer it accepts it, but today when i get home from out of town and tried to plug my flash drive into my computer it want recognize it. What is the problem? I troubleshoot and its telling me nothing is wrong/

    My flash drive use to just open up and I would be able to see all the content, now it's saying removable drive and everything is condensed to one line saying something about (shortcut) and when I try to open it, it says error able to find data on file, please help?
