Since the disk is installed in a USB case, you should not need a disk-specific driver. I can think of a few reasons why it does not work, e.g.
- The disk is defective.
- The USB case interface is defective.
- The laptop's USB port is defective. Did you test all ports?
- You used a 2-connector USB cable instead of one with 3 connectors.
Did you test the drive on some other machine?
