    Hi MariaPetelo,

Follow the suggestions listed below for a possible fix:

Method 1: Follow the steps provided in the following link and check if that helps.

‘Wired and wireless network connection problems in Windows’

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows/help/wired-and-wireless-network-connection-problems-in-windows

**Method 2:**Uninstall and reinstall the network adapter drivers and check if the issue persists.

    a.       Open Device Manager by clicking the Start button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌  If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    b.      Double-click Network Adapters, right-click your adapter, and then click Properties.

    c.       Click the Driver tab, and then click uninstall.

Once you uninstall the drivers then download and install the network adapter drivers from the manufacturer’s website, refer the following link to update the drivers.

‘Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly’

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Update-a-driver-for-hardware-that-isnt-working-properly

You may also refer to the following link for more information.

Whenever I turn my computer off and then back on this happens.  At first it seemed to be from my Windows Updates so I turned them off but it is still doing it - so it is something from the startup.  When I run the troubleshooter the only way to fix it is as administrator.  I know it has something to do with my computer thinking I have multiple networks but the troubleshooter is not very user friendly.  Eventually the administrator will fix the problem but when I turn my computer off and then on, it happens all over again.  It doesn't save the fix.  I am extremely frustrated and would appreciate some help.

Try turning your wireless router off and then back on.

I tried turning off my router and restarting it, turned off my firewall and back on, even troubleshooting doesn't help. The yellow triangle only shows up on some connections. It shows up on unsecured connections but it is perfectly fine on secured ones, but still I should be able to connect to unsecured connections if I wanted idk why my laptop won't let me.

    Hi MariaPetelo,

    ·         Have you made any changes on the computer prior to the issue?

I would suggest you to try running the Network troubleshooter to automatically diagnose and repair network related problems.

Using the Network troubleshooter in Windows 7
