I have to install the (KB974431) for windows 7 64 bit. The answer of my computer says that it nost possible. What is the solution to install it?

It is important to me to install this KB974431 in order to be able to operate throgh my bank account.

My computer doesn't permit it, why? What do I do in order to solve the problem and install it?

Hi,

1.       Are you getting error “update does not apply to your system” o9r something else?

2.       What is the exact error message or error code?

Usually you will not be able to install different (64bit or 32bit) bit version in your computer. I would suggest you to install the correct version and check if it helps.

    Hello, 

    I have exactly the same problem as Matias D. This problem started when I tried to import digital signatures from an older machine to a new one: the bank strongly suggests to install KB974431, which I did. First I did make the mistake of trying to install it in the x32 version while I have Windows 7 x64. Then I downloaded the right version, x64, which by the way took an extremelly long time to download and was even cut 4 times before I could finally download it completely on the 5th attempt, and I am sure there are no bandwidth issues on my side.

    Now the bank also says that the version supported are Internet Explorer versions 6, 7, 8 and 9, and since I was automatically updated to version 10, I had to uninstall that update and revert back to I.E. ver 9, which is now running. Nonetheless, when trying to run the KB974431 for x64 systems update, it keeps on popping up the same message. I have no further ideas to work on, and I really MUST SOLVE this problem, which is disturbing my business operations.

    Hello,

    I tried gain with your link and again the error says: THE UPDATE IS NOT APPLICABLE TO YOUR COMPUTER.

    There is another way to install it? It is very important to me.
