How can i compress a large file in to a small file............

Hello,

           can any one tell me how can i compress a large file (like game,Movies,software) into small file for example a 100 Mb file compressed into 10 Mb or 1.5 GB

           compress into 250 MB like that .............. any great tool or software.

    It is highly unlikely that any compression will reduce the size of a file by anywhere near 90%.

    Moreover, I strongly recommend against compression. It increases the risk of losing files, and can slow down your computer.

    If you are short of disk space, the only good solution is to to buy more.

    The best way to reduce the size of video files is to re-encode them. There are many programs that can do this, you can search google for "re-encode video" to find them (and how to do it).

    To compress data files (but as Ken said, you are unlikely to get the compression ratio you want):
