Urgent Help : New Meeting Feature in MS Teams Disappear

Hi All

Is there any ongoing issue going on MS Teams - Particularly in New Meeting Experience feature. Getting lot of complaints from users saying this feature has gone from their MS Teams Settings, Even in my own tenant, this NME feature has disappeared for one user and i could see the NME feature for other users in the same machine.

What is happening in and around this feature.

Clearing the cache
Reinstall the MS Teams Client
Quit the MS Teams and Re-login

All the above's are done.

    Same issue - i opened MS Case and they confirmed

    Microsoft confirmed, Turning on NME through MS Teams client is going to depreciated slowly across all the tenants

    all tenant users and it’s being enabled by default in the MS Teams client version. This is applicable tenant’s per user basis.

    • June – New experiences are available and users can enable through settings.
    • July – Experiences are enabled by default and users can disable through settings.
    • August – Experiences are enabled by default and user controls are no longer available

    @Ramki ,

    I found that Turn on new meeting experience option disappears in Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.5584 (64-bit). But it still exists in Microsoft Teams Version 1.4.00.4167 (64-bit).

    I checked the features of new meeting experience. All features remain on version 1.4.00.5584(64-bit).

    Someone shares that this option will lose if your computer has HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Citrix in registry. You could try to remove this key and reinstall Teams. Then, the option could come back.
