bluetooth not working for Dell Inspiron N4050 in windows 7 64bit

hi

My bluetooth is not  working on my laptop. Dell inspiron N4050 and im using windows 7 64 bit . so plz guide me and update it .

And if i press F2 my wireless is not turning off.

And where can i get backup driver for my laptop. So plz plz advise and guide me and send me the link for backup drivers.

    Hi,

    1.       Does the issue occur while connecting with all the devices or with any particular device?

    2.       What exactly happens when you try to connect?

    3.       Are you getting error message?

    4.       Did you make any changes to the computer before the issue occurred?

    I would suggest you to follow the steps provided below and check if it helps:

    **Method 1:**Try to run the hardware troubleshooter and check what the issue is and fix it accordingly.

    Follow the link given below open hardware troubleshooter.

    **Method 2:**Check for the Bluetooth support service status:

    a.    Click Start, click Run, type services.msc, and then click OK.

    b.    Double-click the Bluetooth Support service.

    c.    If the Bluetooth Support service is stopped, click Start.

    d.    On the Startup type list, click Automatic.

    e.    Click the Log On tab.

    f.     Click Local System account.

    g.    Click OK.

    h.    If you prompted to restart the computer, click Yes.

    **Method 3:**Also****I would suggest you to update Bluetooth driver for hardware and check if the issue still persists.

    Note: If you don’t find the drivers in Windows updates, go to manufacturer’s website download the latest drivers and install it.

    **Method 4:**Also****try to update the wireless driver for hardware and check if the issue still persists.

    I had same problem. My laptop is Dell N4050 and my operating system is Windows 7 x64 . I fixed it by downloading and installing this Driver and Bluetooth Suite:

    1.       What exactly happens when you try to update it?

    2.       Are you getting any error message?

    I would suggest you to set your computer in Clean Boot state and then try to update the drivers.

    By setting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.

    How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7:

    Note: After clean boot troubleshooting step, follow Step 7 in the provided link to return your computer to Normal startup mode.
