Does this mean that my bios cmos battery has failed?

    Hi,

    1.     When exactly are you getting the error message?

    2.     Do you recall any changes made to the laptop prior to the issue?

    3.     What is the make and model of the laptop?

On my research I found that the system needs the motherboard to function in order to work correctly. It is powered by a cmos battery. Your Cmos battery is probably low and needs to be replaced.

I would suggest you to contact the manufacturer for assistance.
