However, to directly respond to the specific statement of your question, KB 871122 (which is the article referenced earlier in the thread) explains how to start the WZC service:
To start the Wireless Zero Configuration service, follow these steps:
- Click Start, click Run, type %SystemRoot%\system32\services.msc /s, and then click
OK.
- Double-click Wireless Zero Configuration.
- In the Startup type list, click Automatic, and then click Apply.
- In the Service status area, click Start, and then click OK.
