Dear Dark Knight80:

A while back you helps someone who had an XP machine with a printer, a laptop running Win7, who wanted to print with the laptop to the printer remotely over their wireless network.  The solution was to download and install the 64x driver for XP, and then to share the printer, select the x64 check box in Additional Drivers. I have the same problem but I can not locate the 64x driver. Doing an Internet search only gives info on XP 64-bit version. My version of XP contains Service Pack 3, so it is possible I have the driver. All I need is the location or the file name of the driver.

Any 64bit drivers would be obtained from your printer makers support site, if they produce such for winxp

Thanks for the reply. Yes, I located a driver from the printer folder. It seemed to install, but then it asked for the file sRGB.ICM. That file is in a compressed file in c:\windows\Driver Cache\i386\driver. When the file is uncompressed a driver folder is created and the srgb.icm file is there.  But when I try to install it a message stating that "The files are not valid for the selected architecture" is displayed. So, yeah, either one of the file could be incorrect. But I think I'm on the right track.
