From the post by Win8to10 here:

    http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/w8itproinstall/thread/1c120b09-1845-4c85-ba76-ec40023cd30a

"1)  Check to make sure Bluetooth is "enabled"  via Windows and on the Samsung device. Hit Win key + F>Search settings box type Bluetooth>Change Bluetooth Settings>put check in Bluetooth Settings dialog box to "allow Bluetooth devices to find this computer" and "alert me when a new Bluetooth device wants to connect". You can also elect to show the Bluetooth icon in the notification area or not that will get you to this box.
    2) Different mobile computers and tabs also have a Bluetooth "on/off" switch for the device itself. I believe the Samsung Series 7 Slate was given out at Build. Often it's a combo of the Function and F3 key that shows you the off/on switch on your desktop. Consult your Samsung manual for this.

    1. Repeat step one here, and when you type Bluetooth in Settings Search>select "View Devices and Printers">Add Bluetooth Device> turn your mouse on and over>hold the Bluetooth button down for 5 sec.>click on mouse when it shows>next>driver will be searched for and added from your files or Windows update."
It was posted for a Win8 problem, but worked for me for Win7 (I have a V470 also).

You're very welcome! It wasn't meant to be a lecture LOL. I just quoted the steps in hopes it would work as well for you as it did for me, and I'm glad it did :-)
