Is there a work-around for a driver for a Samsung ML1210 laser printer.__

I have Vista 64 bit.

I have downloaded the ML1200 Universal Driver and then the Vista 64 bit driver.

Both drivers send a signal to printer but nothing happens for the print and I geet an error message.

Thanks

I was having the same problem, then on this page:  http://www.samsung.com/us/support/downloads/black-and-white-laser-printers/ML-1210 I located the one that worked for me.  It was the WIN Vista/2008/Win 7 dated Oct 20 2009.

    Win Vista/2008/Win 7 Oct 20, 2009 Print Driver (Driver) (ver.3.01)
    Win Vista/2008/Win 7 Oct 20, 2009 Print Driver (Driver) (ver.3.01)

Thank you so much! Yes, this driver finally worked for me too!

What is the error message your getting (verbatim)?

Can you test the printer on another PC?

I suggest disabling your security software (anti-virus and firewall) temporarily and reinstalling the printer in the mean time:

Samsung ML1210 is connected to PC with USB.

OS is Win Vista 64 Bit

Universal driver installs and printer seems connected.

When a file is sent to printer the data light comes on and stays steady. Print job is in print queue.

Nothing further happens. Data light stays on, print job stays in queue with notice that print job is printing but printer does not print.
