Hi,
Which virus scanner is very good in protecting Win 2016 server?

    LSASS.exe is the Local Security Authentication Server process. Basically it enforces Security Policy. If the process is taking up an inordinate amount of CPU cycles then I would first look at what security policies you have in place.

    LSASS.exe has been hit by viruses in the past so you obviously want to make sure your Antivirus software is running and up-to-date.

    Also, it is a core system file so don't try and kill it, because killing it will cause your computer to reboot.

    Hi,
    I am not sure what virus (or problem) in current Win 2016 server. I cannot type \ within it.

    Is it a virus below, that is leading to big traffic of Win server? How to remove it?

    In Windows Server 2016 there is a built-in native Microsoft antivirus — Windows Defender, which is installed and enabled by default.

    Windows Defender AV is malware protection that immediately and actively protects Windows Server 2016 against known malware and can regularly update antimalware definitions through Windows Update.

    For third-party antivirus product , you can search Top Windows Server Antivirus Software or Best antivirus software for Windows Server for other suggestions.
