**Method 1:**Start the computer in clean boot and then turn on automatic Windows Updates and check if the issue persists. To configure your computer to clean boot refer the following link.

Note: After you have finished troubleshooting, follow “Steps to configure Windows to use a Normal startup state” from the following link to restart the computer in normal mode.
Method 2: If the issue persists then, I would also suggest you to perform SFC scan. To do so, please refer the following article. The SFC /scannow command scans all protected system files and replaces incorrect versions with correct Microsoft versions.
