Suppose a software has been marked as not supported for Windows7 then does this also mean that this software is not compatible on Windows7?

Not supported usually means that the creator of the software will not provide support for it on Windows 7and it may not have been tested.

Not compatible means that it doesn't work with Windows 7.

If it is not supported, it may be compatible or partially compatible, but the manufacturer will not state that it is nor will they provide assistance if it is not.
