    Hi Mike Coll,

There is no harm in deleting Update History:

Follow the below mentioned steps to clear Windows Update history:

    a. Click on the "Start" menu on the main screen of Microsoft Windows. Select "All Programs" to access all programs and options available on the system.

    b. Select "**Run"**from the Windows menu. A box pops up that gives you the option of opening and running a specific folder.

    c. Type the following **"%windir%\SoftwareDistribution"**into the "Run" menu. You are then brought to the Software Distribution section found on your computer.

    d. Open the "**DataStore"**folder. This folder contains all files related to Windows Updates run in the past. To clear the history, you'll need to delete all the contents of this folder.

    e. Restart your computer and you'll have a clear Windows Update history.

    Hope this helps!

When in the Microsoft Update down request page, on the left hand side in an option to review your "UPDATE HISTORY". When you click on it, all the updates which have been downloaded are listed.  These are that which is what I would like to delete, provided that there in no others changes to my computer.
