Hi,
1.Did you make any changes on the computer prior to the issue?
- Is the issue confined only with these gadgets?
- Do you receive any error message on the computer?
Method 1:
You may try restoring the gadget.
To do so:
a. Right click on the gadget.
b. Go to Properties.
c. At the bottom of the window you will find a tab to Restore Gadgets Installed with Windows, click on it.
This will restore it back to the default setting. This should get your Gadget working.
Method 2:
The settings for the gadgets that might have gone corrupt.
When this issue occurs, the configuration information in the Settings.ini file is overwritten. To delete the folder, follow these steps.
a. Click Start. Click Computer.
b. Open the Local Disk (C :) drive and then Users.
c. Double click on your Username folder and then “AppData”.
Note: “AppData” is a hidden folder and you need to unhide it. See: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-US/windows7/Show-hidden-files
d. Then navigate to Local\Microsoft.
e. Right click on Windows Sidebar and select delete. Restart the computer.
