HiNatalie K.D.,
1) Have you tried connecting different earphones apart from the one that you are using? If yes, then does it work?
2) Did the Audio troubleshooter detect any problem?

I have done every troubleshooting method possible and no sound comes from my headphones. This problem has gone on for over a month. No matter what I do nothing seems to work. My headphones are Sony Stereo Headphones (MDR-XD100) and they work perfectly fine on my iPod or desktop computer but not my laptop. My laptop is a Sony Vaio E Series with Windows 7 Home Premium. Is it an issue where I would have to visit the manufacturer of my laptop or can this issue be fixed?

HiNatalie K.D.,
There is a possibility that the jack is faulty.
I would have you contact the computer manufacturer for further assistance.

Hope this helps!!
I have tried connecting other earphones to my laptop and I'm still not able to hear anything. Also, the audio troubleshooter did not detect any problems.
I've tried both solutions and the problem has not been resolved.
