For most home printers, no, the documents you print are not stored in memory. Some printers come with internal hard drives and might buffer or store copies temporarily but if that's the case your printer's manual or support web site should say so.
Are there any documents held in a printer's memory?
I am searching for a recent document and can't locate it in my computer. As I printed it, I hope there is a memory in the printer so I can recover this page.

Have you done a search? If Windows search doesn't find it, you might
want to try a third party search program like the excellent and free
Agent Ransack. As I printed it, I hope there is a memory in the printer so I can recover this page.
Probably not. Worst case, if the file is gone, you should be able to
scan it and OCR the scanned image. If you don't have a scanner, you
can ask a friend with one to help you.Ken Blake, Microsoft MVP
