How to install skins in Windows Media Player

original title: After I download an skin ( media player ) from microsoft, and hit save,...

simple says, viewed it or open it, when I hit open it does fine..but if I go back to the regular windows media player and "choose skin", I selected and apperears as a regular pictures and does not open any other skins I have downloaded. Why does it appeares as picture, shouldnt open right up?, it clearly says "download" and I DID...

can anyone explained it to me, I am lost ?

    Hi,

    Please follow the methods.


    Method 1:

    To install skins, you must be logged in as an administrator or a member of the Administrators group.

    Method 2:

    Follow the steps.

    a.      Copy the downloaded skins to %systemdrive%\program files\windows media player\skins

    b.      After copying right click on the downloaded skin and go to its properties and click on "Unblock" button.
