Disk Utility application to fix my hard drive?

I have some goofy sectors on one of my hard disks and I would like to repair it. When I had my Mac, there were several powerful multi-function disk utilities such as TechTool and DriveWarrior. I used both of those apps to successfully repair several older hard disks.  Problem is, I can't seem to find an equivalent application for Windows.

Does anyone know of any good Disk'/Drive Utilities for Windows OS?

    Your HD maker will have a free disk checking utility

    The in built chkdsk utility has some options - see win help & support.

    Utilities do not repair the HD (or rarely do), they simply mark the bad sectors to prevent them being used.

    Personally if i found damaged sectors I would regard that drive as suspect/failing and would only use it for stuff I could afford to lose

    Boot to HDD Regenerator and use it.

    I have the HD diagnostic utility from Western Digital, which is how I'm aware of the sector issue. Unfortunately, the application doesn't repair or remedy the problem.

    I have tried chkdsk, but it doesn't support the particular partition-format.

    This image shows the S.M.A.R.T. status of the problem drive. You can see the problem attribute that has been highlighted yellow.

    So after seeing the diagnostics, it seems that some sort of HD "doctor" would be a good idea...No?

    @MacWinLin,

    You'll find the manufacturer specific HDD diagnostic tools here:

    And if you're looking to monitor the health of your HDD using third party apps, here are some popular freeware programs:
