    Hi,

    1.    Does the flash drive show up in Windows Explorer?

    2.    Have you made any changes to the computer prior to the issue?

Try connecting the flash drive on a different computer and check if that gets detected.

**Method 1:**Run the hardware and devices troubleshooter to automatically fix the problem and check if the camera gets detected.

‘Open the Hardware and Devices troubleshooter’

    http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/Open-the-Hardware-and-Devices-troubleshooter

**Method 2:**Update the drivers for the flash drivers from device manager and check if that helps.

    a)    Open Device Manager by clicking the ‘Start’ button, clicking Control Panel, clicking System and Maintenance, and then clicking Device Manager.‌

    b)    If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.

    c)    On the Device Manager window, and expand ‘portable devices’.

    d)    Right-click on the USB device and click on ‘update drivers’.

‘Update a driver for hardware that isn't working properly’

I just bought one of these 16gb Lexar USB thumb drives to fix a problem with a brand new laptop running Windows 10. (MS Tech says I have to reinstall it).  Bought the drive to download the recovery files, tried it on 3 different Windows 7 PCs.  Not recognized.  Not present in partition manager.  All drivers are current.  Tried it on a Windows 10 machine.  Recognized and mounted as a 260 meg drive.  14.65 Gigs unallocated.  No available options to format or mount larger partition.  No options to unmount smaller partition.  This is nuts.

First thing you should do is hook it up to another PC and see if it works. If it does, save off a copy of your data and then try and figure out why it doesn't work on your machine.
