Installing Visual studio 6.0 on windows 7 64 bit

I wanted to know if I can install Microsoft Visual Studio 6.0 and Microsoft MSDN Library- Visual studio 6.0 on my computer with Windows 7 64 bit?  I want to know if this will work before I try to install it and have lots of troubles.

    There is an installer that works well for using VB6 on Win7 thru Win 10 (I have no affiliation with the following)

    I installed Windows Virtial; PC - XP Mode on my machine with Windows 7 Uoltimate 32-bit, and MSDEV 6.0 runs perfectly in the XP Window.

    It is not easy to install XPMode though.
