I recently formated my harddrive and did a clean install of windows 7.
Lately ive noticed that while watching youtube videos or listening to music in windows media player, ill get these random stutter moments where the computer just seems to slow down for a second. It affects my mouse as well.
I ran DPC Latency checker and found that at the moments I had stutters, the latency checker was spiking up to max in the red.
I read around online that it is the network card that causes this, so i disabled my network card and the latency checker remained in the green.
Then I tried reconnecting my internet via wifi while the network card was disabled, and once again I started getting spikes.
I also tried updating my network card to the latest driver and now its even worse....
can someone please help me? These random stutters are starting to get annoying.
Also a side note:
Ive noticed that if the driver is enabled, and im not doing anything network related its all fine. But once I do something like load a page or load a video, thats when I start to get the random stutters.
Update: I ran latencymon and I found that flash player is causing many hardpage faults, and that a driver called ndis.sys - NDIS 6.20 driver is causing my latency spikes.

This has been happening since day 1 of installing windows 7.
Ive looked every where online and many other people said they also only had this problem in windows 7.
There is clearly a latency problem with windows 7... hasnt microsoft released an update yet to fix latency issues?
I also already tried updating drivers. If you read the report you can see that ndis.sys is causing my CPU to stall. Iv tried using multiple drivers and nothing has worked.
I am having the same problem. I'm sitting here now and every once in a while
i hear two successive "clicks" so to speak at which time any audio pauses and then resumes. I used the same latency monitor program to assess and basically
same findings..i'll post below. I've tried EVERYTHING.
Ive upgrade BIOS, shut off Aero, etc, etc... Its driving me insane. This is anew Dell computer with pretty sweet specs and I just can't handle it. I would appreciate some help for sure.
