My screen flipped orientation 90 degrees to the left. I want to bring it back to normal. How? Control panel only allows flipping screen 180 degrees and that doesn't work.

If your display card has enabled it then you can right-click on the desktop, select Graphics options, Rotation.
Your display card might have enabled a keyboard shortcut for this - see your manual.
Otherwise go to Control panel, Display, Change Display Settings, Advanced settings, {biggest tab - it will have the display card name on it}, Graphics options or similar term - then look around here for screen rotation settings [they are all laid out differently so you just have to look]. While you are there you can find out the keyboard shortcut that would have given you a quicker solution or you can often disable the keyboard shortcut so you don't get into this position again.
Thanks so much, george1009! In the portrait orientation, even moving the mouse pointer was topsy-turvy; 'tis a relief to resume landscape.
Thank you, thank you, thank you! It was driving me crazy trying to figure it out.
